Super cozy fall project ideas!

Have you noticed that it feels like fall is coming? I swear as soon as September 1st came along something felt different. I wanted to share some cozy fall knitting and crochet projects that you can cast on right now.

First up is the beautiful Hirne cardigan from Kate Davies. Kate's designs are so timeless and pretty. I love the stitch pattern on this cardigan. I'm recommending the new Rambouillet from Juniper Moon Farms for this cardigan. This beautiful new yarn is so soft and drapey. It will be perfect for this pattern.

Another gorgeous cardigan from Kate Davies is Horology. I love the cables on this cardigan. It's the same gauge as the Hirne cardigan, so it will also work well for Rambuoillet from Juniper Moon Farms. This sweater would be an instant favorite, don't you think?

I wanted to find a super simple pullover sweater as a recommendation for the new yarn Gianna from Berroco. So imagine this cute but plain pullover - the Cove Sweater - knit in a fun self-striping yarn. Gianna is a chain construction yarn, so it is lightweight but will give you a true worsted weight gauge. I think it would be super fun for this pattern.

If you want to get started on your holiday gift knitting, Strange Jewels Slippers from Shannon Squires is a cute and quick pattern. The new Young and Trendy from Laines du Nord is a perfect yarn for this project. These would make a cozy gift!

For crocheters, the Jessie Stash Basket would be super fun worked up in either the Young and Trendy or Young and Trendy solids. Isn't this a fun project?!
