Boro Design Project workshop with April Sproule Part 2

Join us on Saturday, October 13 from 10 am - 1 pm for a workshop with local fiber artist April Sproule. In the workshop, you will create your own design by hand piecing together different fabrics to form an 8” square. Once you have your square pieced, you will transform your piece with Japanese Boro stitching.
You’ll be amazed at how easy it can be to combine beautiful fabrics like fine silks and linens. All it takes is learning a few simple tips and techniques. All stitching is done without an embroidery hoop, and some supplies are included.
Attendees must have taken the Introduction to Japanese Boro Embroidery class.
